im not of fan of HDR when its not really usefull, i dont think it really add anything here
technically its well done, no crits, well maybe one
the bushes at the center looks messy, maybe because of hdr i dont know
maybe you can explain why you used hdr here... when i look at Byonder gallery for example, his pictures justify the use of hdr, but im not sure about this one
03/15/07 @887
and I used HDRI on this one because I want to try HDRI on everything !
and I want feedback for them and thats why I´m posting them here !altough I know HDR technic doesn´t work well on Landscape photography, I want to give it a try ! and I´m satisfied with the result ! and the light condiction was too bad !

I think it is justified using HDR-technics for this shot.
..well I was there too, and I also tried to catch it with the right exposure, but it was nearly impossible, either the sky or the branches were overexposed. I dicided to try it with an IR-filter and got a nice result (will be online sometime
We are still experimenting

You know that I simply don't know crap about photographic techniques, or what they are for. To me, it looks overloaded. The blurryness and the structures of the trees aren't really working together very well... I think the colors are too intensive as well. I understand the lightning wasn't ideal, but for me it would've made more sense to have this photo express a calm/silent feeling. The water and the ducks would contribute to this...
Just my opinion

Keep experimenting!
It is nice to see that the two of you take these photo trips!
Much more fun to shoot together with someone...

But HDR's are very addictive ! I have been through that phase myself !! And experimenting is gr8 as well !!
If you are open to alternative ideas to satisfy the issues you faced with this shot ! I can suggests replicating the ND grad filter to get everything exposed well !! PM me if you are interested, i would only be glad to share the technique with U !!
Also HDR doesn't work well with subject with movement !! Especially this case where both water & the trees are moving !! Now this is just a personal opinion & you may vary!! I Love your work & i love HDR's too but don't let it you distract too much, be choosy with it

Other than that I like this picture

But I can't agree on good composition. It looks like there's something missing. There should be some kind of focal point, a main center of interest where the viewer's gaze can rest on.
+9/10
